HOME TESTS

  • These tests you can simply perform at home.

(1) THE TONGUE TEST – Look at this tongue below to the left, do you see the white covering over it.  Now go back and check your tongue in the mirror.  Is it coated a faint white or yellowish color?  This could be a key sign of bacterial or yeast overgrowth.  If you have a white tongue, there is a good chance you have Candida and SIBO.   Now look at the tongue to the right and notice there is no white covering, the sign of a healed gut with no Candida or Bacterial Overgrowth.   As you make progress keep checking your tongue and it should clear

(2) THE SPIT TEST – This is a good test for yeast overgrowth.  First thing in the morning when you wake up get a clear glass and fill it with water then spit in it about the size of quarter.  See if your spit stays on top of the water or does it drift down toward the bottom.  Spit and wait about ten minutes.  If it drifts to the bottom, it’s a bad sign.  You can’t eat or drink anything before you do the test and don’t brush your teeth before the test either.  As you make progress with healing your Candida your spit should stay on top of the water.  Keep doing this test once a week.  Watch this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X86FQBY1ZlE

(3) HCL TEST – This is a good test to measure your stomach acid.  HCL is hydrochloric acid, and it is simply stomach acid.  You should have plenty of stomach acid to break all your food down.  If you don’t have much stomach acid, then you more than likely are deficient in the nutrition to create the hormones that you need.  Buy some HCL with PEPSIN and take one capsule with a protein rich meal.  So, eat chicken or steak with a carb and vegetable and then take one capsule mid-way through the meal.  If you have stomach discomfort, then you know that your stomach acid is fine.  If you don’t get any stomach discomfort, then the next day eat the same meal and take 2 capsules. If you still don’t have any discomfort, then the next day take 3 capsules and so on.  Just keep adding 1 more capsule each day until you experience stomach discomfort.  If you need to take more than one capsule, then you have low stomach acid.  Some people can literally take 20 capsules and get no discomfort, because they have no stomach acid.  Keep doing this test once a week.   http://holistic-pharmacist.com/articles/digestive-health/betaine-hcl-test/

(4) MOLD TEST – This is a good test to measure your mold and digestion.   Simply go to https://www.vcstest.com login and take the test.  I think the first test is free and each one after that is $15 or you can pay $150 for unlimited tests.

(5) AGING TEST – This is a good test to measure the difference between your chronological age and your biological age.   Simply go to http://aging.ai/aging-v3/?m=us#form_inp land enter the data from your complete blood work.  This will tell you your biological age.  Your chronological age is your actual age in numbers and your biological age is your age in how old your body is aging.  The aging.ai models can predict age on average around .88 years - https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/ai-enabled-ekgs-find-difference-between-numerical-age-and-biological-age-significantly-affects-health-longevity/

MEDICAL TESTS

  • If you fail the at home tests and if you’d like, you can then follow up with the medical tests for more accuracy.  Some people won’t take the stool test so you can take the Candida blood and SIBO breath test below.
  • You don’t really have to take the leaky gut test if you test positive for Candida and SIBO.  If you have Candida and SIBO you more than likely will have leaky gut.  I would start with the Candida and SIBO test and if you don’t have Candida or SIBO I would then take the leaky gut test.

(1) STOOL TEST – This will test both SIBO, Candida and parasites.  There is also a good test for secretory IGA in there also, which measures inflammation in the gut- https://www.doctorsdata.com/comprehensive-stool-analysis-w-parasitology-x3/
